Integrated Waste Management (Faecal Sludge and Solid Waste) model for a municipality

The Municipality is 'Responsible' for faecal sludge and solid waste management according to the Local Government Act of Bangladesh. A densely populated country like Bangladesh has limited land to treat these wastes separately in different pieces of land. Therefore, it would be practical to treat both these wastes in an integrated manner so that the Municipality can exhibit the 'Responsibility' and 'Accountability' functions of CWIS. The innovative technical aspects of 'Gasification' and 'Pyrolysis' through Omniprocessor is the state-of-the-art technology that the Department of Public Health Engineering of Bangladesh will be convening in the coming days to treat faecal sludge and solid waste on a municipality scale. There are small to medium to large models of Gasifier/Pyrolysis unit/Omniprocessor depending upon the municipality's need.
