UCLG ASPAC with the support from BMGF has been implementing Municipalities Network Advocacy on Sanitation in South Asia (MuNASS) project to address SDG 6.2 since 2018.
MuNAS initiated to introduced the innovative low cost and Eco friendly toilet system at the UCLG ASPAC Congress , held in Yiwu from 12th to 15th November 2023.
MuNASS invited Yixing Eco-Sanitary Manufacture Co. Ltd. of China (http://www.eco-san.cn/e_main.html ), and Beijing Enterprises Water Group Limited BEWG ( https://www.bewg.net/en/) to introduce the innovations and new technologies of urban sanitation tools for safe sanitation.
Yixing Eco-Sanitary Manufacture Co. Ltd, Yixing Industrial Park of Environmental Science &Technology, Yixing city of Jiangsu Province, China will introduce the innovation to address Safe sanitation which has won REINVENT THE TOILET CHALLENGE 2011.
Eco-san Ecological Toilet (Eco-san) is a kind of green, environmental and ecological toilet system technology, can safely and effectively realize the recycling of fecal wastewater and is specially built for the areas which haven’t proper sanitation facilities, Its the most advanced technology from California Institute of Technology by cooperating with Prof. Hoffmann, and supported by Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
