Sensitizing Tools for Total Sanitation

This workshop is intended to give detail information on the knowledge and skills required for sensitizing  the community for attaining open defecation free area. The workshop is a tool to meet the National Goal  (NG) of attaining universal sanitation by the year 2017. This workshop provides necessary skills to  sensitize the community so that the community internalizes the need of latrine hence attaining open  defecation free community. With the past experience of providing subsidy for the latrine construction, the  focus has had been on the construction of latrine rather than the proper operation and regular  maintenance of latrine. However, with the workshop, it is intended to vigilant people and use the latrine,  thus meeting the goal of attaining universal coverage of sanitation, quantity as well as qualitatively.
