Citywide Inclusive Sanitation Training Packages

This training manual represents a vital initiative in the sanitation sector, particularly the emerging approach of Citywide Inclusive Sanitation (CWIS), designed to align with the Sustainable Development Goal 6 (SDG 6) for universal access to sanitation. CWIS goes beyond traditional sanitation methodologies by integrating all facets of human life connected directly or indirectly to sanitation. As a relatively new and evolving concept, this compilation of packages aims to disseminate essential knowledge and experiences related to CWIS to various stakeholders. Developed with input from sector stakeholders, CWIS Alliance Nepal (CWISAN), and government representatives, these packages encompass a range of sensitization and training materials targeting policymakers, decision-makers, sanitation experts, professionals, implementers, engineers, and technical personnel. By addressing the gaps in sanitation inclusivity and sustainability, this training manual serves as a valuable resource in advancing the understanding and implementation of CWIS, ultimately contributing to more equitable and sustainable sanitation services in Nepal.
